Step 1: Pick Your Hotel by Venue

Bukit Jalil Venues (TM Stadium Nasional, Axiata Arena, National Hockey Stadium)

• Budget: Hotel Zamburger Bukit Jalil, nearby Airbnb
• Mid-range: Cititel Mid Valley, Boulevard Hotel
• Luxury: The St. Regis KL (KL Sentral, 15-min Grab)

Take LRT Kelana Jaya Line to Bukit Jalil station — 10-15 min walk from there.

Bukit Bintang Venues (Zepp KL, Mega Star Arena)

• Budget: Travelodge Bukit Bintang
• Mid-range: ANSA Hotel, Federal Hotel
• Luxury: JW Marriott, Westin, Pavilion Hotel

Walking distance to both venues. You may not even need transport.

Genting Highlands (Arena of Stars)

• Budget: First World Hotel (3,000+ rooms)
• Mid-range: Resort Hotel Genting
• Luxury: Crockfords, Genting Grand

Stay at the resort. Driving down at midnight is not recommended.

Step 2: Getting Around KL

• Get a Touch 'n Go card at any LRT/MRT station (RM 10 deposit + top-up). Works on all trains.
• Grab (Southeast Asia's Uber) for when trains do not reach. Downtown rides: RM 8-25.
• KLIA Ekspres: RM 55 from KLIA to KL Sentral (28 min). Cheaper than Grab from the airport.

Step 3: Sample Weekend Itinerary (Bukit Bintang + Zepp KL)

Day 1 (Concert Day):

• Morning: Arrive, check in. Brunch at Feeka or VCR.
• Afternoon: Pavilion KL mall, walk to KLCC Park for Petronas Towers photos.
• 6:30 PM: Pre-show dinner at LaLaport BBCC (above Zepp KL).
• 7:15 PM: Walk to Zepp KL. Doors open 1 hour before show.
• Post-show: Jalan Alor street food — grilled stingray, satay, char kuey teow.

Day 2:

• Morning: Batu Caves — 272 rainbow steps, cave temple (30 min by KTM Komuter).
• Lunch: Banana leaf rice at Sri Nirwana Maju (Bangsar) or Lot 10 Hutong food court.
• Afternoon: Chinatown (Petaling Street) and Central Market for souvenirs.
• Evening: Rooftop drinks at Heli Lounge Bar for skyline views before heading to the airport.

Money-Saving Tips

• Fly AirAsia: KL is their hub. Regional flights can be as low as RM 100-200 return.
• Eat at hawker centers: Incredible food for RM 5-15 per dish.
• Book refundable hotels: Concert dates can shift.
