Mega Star Arena, KL — Frequently Asked Questions

Where exactly is Mega Star Arena?

Mega Star Arena (MSA) is on Level 1 (unit F106) of Sungei Wang Plaza at Jalan Sultan Ismail, 55100 Kuala Lumpur — inside the mall in the heart of Bukit Bintang. It is directly connected to the Bukit Bintang Monorail station, making it one of the most accessible concert venues in KL.

What is the capacity of Mega Star Arena?

Mega Star Arena is a flexible multipurpose hall with a capacity of up to 5,000 for concerts and events (per the venue's official rate card). Founded in 2014 and expanded to its current Sungei Wang Plaza home in 2023, it bills itself as the biggest arena in the Golden Triangle.

How do I get to Mega Star Arena by public transport?

Take the KL Monorail to Bukit Bintang station (MR6) — the station is connected to Sungei Wang Plaza. The MRT Putrajaya Line's Bukit Bintang station (KG18A) and the LRT Kelana Jaya Line's Dang Wangi station are also within walking distance. Many buses stop along Jalan Sultan Ismail.

Where can I park at Mega Star Arena?

Sungei Wang Plaza has multi-storey basement parking (paid, around RM4–RM8 per entry). On event nights parking fills up fast, so arriving by monorail or Grab is strongly recommended. There is a Grab/Taxi stand right at the mall.

What concerts are coming to Mega Star Arena?

Upcoming shows at Mega Star Arena include T-ARA, Hillsong Worship, Super Junior-83z, The Rose, Bob Lam and more. Check the concert listing on this page for dates and ticket links.
