Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting — Frequently Asked Questions

What is the capacity of Arena of Stars?

Arena of Stars has a seating capacity of 5,132: 3,746 fixed seats, 854 VIP seats, 532 red foldable chairs, and up to 8 handicap seats (per the official Resorts World Genting venue page). Some older listings round this to about 6,000 at maximum capacity.

How do I get to Arena of Stars?

Arena of Stars is at Resorts World Genting in Genting Highlands. Take the Genting Skyway cable car from the Awana Bus Terminal (buses from KL Sentral and other cities stop there), then use the free resort shuttle or walk to the venue, which is beside the First World Hotel.

Is Arena of Stars indoor or outdoor?

It is a roofed amphitheatre. The 45,000 sq ft venue was built in 1998 without a roof and a canopy was added later due to the highland weather — so shows run rain or shine, and the venue is cooled by the mountain climate.

Where can I park at Arena of Stars?

Resorts World Genting has multi-level car parks (paid) at First World Hotel and the SkyAvenue complex. The Awana Skyway car park at the cable-car base is a good overflow option on event days. Genting Highlands is about a 1-hour drive from KL via the Karak Highway and Genting Sempah.

What concerts are coming to Arena of Stars?

Upcoming shows at Arena of Stars include Fan Fan 范玮琪 and Shila Amzah. See the listing on this page for dates and ticket links.
